The Hill supports Brisbane's Arts Community with regular live music, frequent family and annual events covering a spectrum of cultures and iconic festivals like Riverfire, which attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators throughout the city and is perfectly viewed from The Hill's elevated panorama.

Regular Events

 

Weekly

  • Fridays 4pm-6pm: Happy Hour in the Club

  • Fridays 4:45 - 6:45: Beer League Bowls Modified Triples

  • Saturday 1pm: Member Social Bowls & District Competition Bowls (depending on season and active comps)

  • Sunday 3pm: Live music on the Community Green & family fun time

  • Wednesday 12.30pm: Members Social Bowls (run by the Men’s section - ladies welcome)

  • Thursday 9:30am: Member Social Bowls, 9am Morning Tea (run by the Ladies’ section – gents welcome)

  • Thursday Night 6:30pm: Bowlo Triviolo

  • Tuesday Night 7:00pm: Open Mic Night (1st and 3rd Tuesday of the Month)

Bowlo Triviolo

On Thursdays we host Bowlo Triviolo. Friendly and fun Trivia with our awesome in-house host. With a range of interactive activities, ‘thai’ breakers and stumpers - our Trivia is sure to leave you satisfied. We have a heap of awesome prizes up for grabs too.

Open Mic Night

Join the crew at the Camp Hill Bowlo for a cracking night of local live music, experience the local talent from the Hills.

Open Mic Night runs on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the Month. It is open to all and acts, from Ukulele players, to bush poetry.

Live Music

Aside from weekly Sundays live on the Community Green at 3pm, The Hill is open to supporting live music and local musicians with music for special events and functions.

ANZAC Day 25th April

Fast becoming our most popular day, this is the one day of the year when you can enjoy an epic Two-Up game together with kids activities, tunes, brews, food and views. COME IN SPINNER!

Ekka Wednesday Mid-August

The Hill is a favourite destination for the community on this public holiday, before or after you visit the Ekka, or if you are foregoing it completely! Come for a relaxed few hours or day out and enjoy the fireworks from a crowd-free viewing platform.

Riverfire

One of the best events of the year in Brisbane in September and no better place to view it than The Hill. As part of the Brisbane Festival, Riverfire is an explosive extravaganza of fireworks from the iconic Story Bridge all the way round to South Bank, with fly-overs passing overhead, live music, food trucks, face painting, a magic show, kids stalls, BBQ and Pan Thai Restaurant just some of the possible inclusions. Stay tuned for early announcements on what to expect in September.

New Year's Eve 31st December

The Hill is ideal for a casual catch-up or all night party with friends to welcome in the new year. Join us to reminisce on the year past and look forward to the year ahead in a revelry of the here and now. There will be tunes, brews, food and views, everything you need to celebrate this annual milestone.
